    A few recent reviews indicated that an updated version of this item includes the hole for attachment of a tripod. I ordered this item, and was very disappointed that this is NOT true. I contacted Qooltek and let them knew about the issue. Even though this was not their fault at all (they obviously have no control over what people say in their reviews), they were very understanding and immediately sent me a replacement.So again, to save others from making my mistake, this item DOES NOT have a tripod mounting hole. However, the seller offers a different item which does: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06ZZSNP8DBottom line: this laser level is an excellent value for the price, and this seller showed excellent customer service by promptly taking care of me, even when it wasn’t their mistake to begin with. A+++++

    WOW!! I just received this and taking it out of the package I was impressed. It is a very sturdy product and packaged with extra batteries and a screwdriver to change the batteries with. For a company to put this much thought into their packaging I am sure this will be a wonderful product to use. I have turned it on and shown pictures here of the laser in a bright room from 32 inches. The laser line from 32 inches is plenty bright enough and measures about the same distance up and down and across that the laser is from the wall (32 inches). For this price, you cant go wrong.

    No dislikes at all. The instrument is accurately calibrated. A few reviewers said there were no instructions but I did receive them — thankfully, as they explained how to change the laser patterns by simply flipping three positions with your finger on a tab near the lens. Trying to turn the lens with a screwdriver is NOT the way to change the laser patterns. I used it to determine/monitor a proper water drain slope/degree when I repaired my patio floor and replacing the gutter. If I had a weak laser projection on a rough/dark surface, I simply taped a piece of white copy paper on the inspection area to increase laser reflection/brightness.Great product!

    …but I never got to use it for its intended purpose. I needed a laser that projected a line and this appeared to do what I wanted. The laser line projection appears to allow the tool to work as intended but I only needed the laser and lens and this seemed like the cheapest way to go. I promptly disassembled the tool, removed the laser and lens, and then re-assembled the parts into a compact unit to be attached to my automobile wheel balancer to project a line to be used to place the wheel weights. I expect this to do the job.

    This was definitely a surprise when I received it. I was expecting just a basic laser level with no extras. I am certainly “Happy” with this purchase.Along with the laser level you’re given a little screw driver and extra batteries to go with the laser level. Idk if I’ll need to buy more. On top of that you’re given a little ruler.This thing is pretty accurate as well. We have been able to put up our art wall with relative ease thanks to this!

    Here’s how to adjust:Set the unit down on a table with the Amazon box about a foot away. Since Both the laser level and the box are on the same plane, you are assured that you are measuring properly.Move the laser window to its middle position – it will now generate a crosshair.Turn on the laser and aim it at the Amazon box’s barcode — CAREFULLY rotate the laser window a bit if the crosshair is not perfect.Now you can hang pictures with arrived leveling and balancing.

    After reading some reviews, I was hesitant about the quality of this laser level but I bought it anyway because it’s so cheap (compared to other levels selling for $200+). I just needed a level to know where to drill holes for a long closet shelf.Included in the box is the laser level, EXTRA batteries for the laser and a separate metal ruler that you can also use to adjust the lens of the laser.The laser:The laser at first was a little off but after adjusting by turning the front lens, It was good. The laser starts to get blurry when the laser is shown more than 6 feet away from the wall, but it’s still accurate enough for my needs.The bubble level:It works as expected. Nothing too exciting, but it does cover all three bubble angles.The tape measure:This is a thinner measure and doesn’t hold straight on its own very well so don’t expect to draw straight lines using it. Just use it to measure things. It’s a good bonus to the laser level but it shouldn’t be the primary reason to buy this.

    As a 3D printing business we find a need for all sorts of tools. In looking for a metric tape measure I came across this multipurpose tool and I’m so glad I settled on this! Not only do all the functions work great but it also came with a small standalone metal ruler in addition to the attached rulers and tape measure. The laser is bright and came perfectly level, and the tape lock works well.If you’re considering this item and aren’t super hard on your tools (this is primarily constructed of strong plastic) then you’ll find this multipurpose tool extremely useful.

    Update to below: They contacted me and sent a replacement works great. A+ Customer ServiceSuggest remove batteries for long periods of non-use.Had this product almost 2 years and finally went to use it but the measuring tape when used seemed light weight and cheap. I tried to retract the tape and it would not. It would pull the tape out further and it would still not retract. Finally I pulled it all the way out just to get it out of the way. So only the level functions are left.

    It arrived today and when i opened it i was blown away. Comes with a screw driver bc the battery cover. I go to put in Tyne batteries only to see a little white pull tab… it came w an extra set ? and an additional adjustment bar. I managed to use tape to secure the extra bits to my laser level.
