    I’ve tried others, PN and paid good money for them but they were junk! I’ve never had a foil type razor so this was all new to me and I figured I’d give it a try. I was used to the 3 spinning blades on the PN but after using this Braun series 9 pro I couldn’t be happier. I shave my head and face and I’m amazed how little time it takes and I’m getting as close as my regular razor. I know they are pricey but for sure in this case you get what you pay for. As for the cleaning solution I make my own, 40% distilled water, 60% rubbing alcohol and 8 drops of essential oils. I strongly recommend this shaver

    My male relatives who have been using razors all their lives ask me how I keep my face so smooth. I started with a Remington, tried a rotary(A Big No), and landed finally with a Braun 7. Then, I updated to Braun 9, just for fun, and they just keep getting better and I keep getting poorer. But, at least my face is happy. It’s actually fun to get a shave so close that no matter how I stretch my facial skin, I can’t feel hair stubble. Then Braun keeps coming out with all these neat additions and newer models that keep getting me a closer shave. I’m not telling my relatives nada. They can keep using their cheap razors and tearing up their faces and I’ll do the Ronald Weasley in the mirror. Thanks Braun. I now own a 7, a 9, a 9 pro, and one more soon. But, that one is a secret too. I love these secrets. They keep my face like a babies bottom. Nah Nah Nah.

    I have been a Norelco user for ever ~ probably owned 5 or 6 in my life. Now at 83 ~ softer skin, more wrinkles ~ my latest Norelco just wasn’t doing a satisfactory job. Went through 3 new heads this past year before giving up. Reviews were confusing ~ especially when searching for senior recommendations. I’ve had this Brun for about a week. The shave is fantastic, it’s fast seldom needing more than a single pass, smooth, irritation free ~ the cleaning station is like having a new machine every morning. I am very happy!

    I have been a Braun customer for years starting with the Braun Series 7 Razor. I upgraded to Braun Series 9 a few years back when it first came out and was due for another upgrade. I decided to buy the Braun Series 9 Pro with charging case. I couldn’t be happier. The shave is much smoother than my Braun Series 9 and I love the charging case for traveling. Will look to upgrade in 3-4 years from now.

    I bought this to replace a very old Norelco rotary shaver that I was unable to get replacement parts for so it’s possible that this comparison with a brand new, top of the line shaver is a little unfair! Having said that, I am delighted that with this new razor shaving is quick and easy even when I am shaving 4-5 days of growth which was a multi step chore with my old razor, having to first use the trimmer to cut down my beard and then go over multiple times with the razor. Now I just shave once and done. Very satisfied!

    Pro – Set so the head doesn’t tilt it shaves as close as possible I think. I bought this and the Norelco, tried both and returned the Norelco. I have thick hair and I could lick my lips and feel no sandpaper. With the Norelco – sandpaper.Con – the trimmer is literally a joke. I’m shocked! It is worthless. Also, I will never wash it to clean it, or use the cleaning station. Too many reviews saying the insides got wet and now it doesn’t work. I just brush and tap it clean and that seems to do the trick.. Still gave it 5 stars because I already have a trimmer and this shaver actually makes my face smooth – first time ever!

    THIS REALLY IS A GREAT RAZOR. A CLOSE SHAVE.(NOT AS CLOSE AS A RAZOR BLADE). A FAST SHAVE VERY COSE AND IMPORTANTLY, EASY ON THE FACIAL SKIN. WHEN HOLDING THE RAZOR,ESPECIALLY IN THE SHOWER, THE BACKSIDE OF THE RAZOR HAS A RUBBERIZED MATERIAL THAT KEEPS THE RAZOR FROM SLIPPING OUT OF YOUR HAND. I HAVE A JAPANESE RAZOR THAT SHAVES SLIGHTLY CLOSER BUT CAN CAUSE REDNESS ON THE FACE. SO FAR THE BRAUN IS CLOSE AND NO REDNESS. LIKE MOST OF THE REVIEWERS, I HAVE HAD MOST OF THE DIFFERENT RAZORS AND I CAN SAY THAT THIS IS THE BEST YET. RECOMMENDED.

    I’ve been thru so many electric razors due to extremely sensitive skin thanks to radiation and chemo…so this thing shows up…i save the packaging…charge for 20 minutes…5-6 days growth on my sad old face…turned this baby on and——-#Hoe.Lee.Chou…..this is IT! a 2 minute skim and done–5-6 days growth–gone—smooth skin—2 hours later skin is still smooth, not red and itchy like #Every.Other.Razer has left my faceSOooooooooo worth the money if you want ease of use, smooth shave, smooth skinthanks guys, this is THE BEST EVER!

    Third Braun shaver for me. Last was a series 9, 9090, 6 years ago. Never had one fail on me but seem to replace every 6 or 7 years for the tech improvements. Wasn’t really expecting an improved shave but got a pleasant surprise with this 9465! Couple of weeks in and I would have to say definitely an improved shave compared to 9090 with fresh foil. I would say quicker and a bit closer as well. Wet/dry is awesome feature. Charge/clean system is essentially same as my last and effortless. Have traveled for two weeks with last one and never needed charging. Great German engineering and quality control shows. Very happy so far.

    I have had a series 7 for years and really liked it. The only issue was the little hairs at the base of my neck would stay and I would have to “clean up” with a blade every few days. This one gats everything and shaves even closer. 100% recommend.
