    I already owned the larger 48 LED version, and I bought these smaller 36 LED versions for areas around my backyard.While obviously not as bright as the larger units, you get four lights in this package compared to only two of the larger lights. I knew this when I ordered them, so I was aware of this. Finally, the work just as well as their big brothers when it comes to detecting motion.

    Installed on fence for accent lighting. They are very bright and look great. They don’t get full sun all day, but seemed to get enough to come on for at least part of the night. Haven’t confirmed how long they stay on, but they were on for at least a few hours the first night.

     After trying so many other solar lights, these are the best. No longer thinking I need electric outdoor lights. Such a money saver! Also love the 3 mode options. I took advice of another reviewer & used small nails & hooked up the units rather than using screws in case I want to change the mode setting in the future.

    The first night we had these lights, my husband installed one over our carport, facing our driveway. It emitted a nice, low light and, when you walked anywhere within its range, it ramped up to a very bright light.I was awake around 5:00 am the next morning, and passing by the front window when, all of a sudden, I saw headlights pulling up onto our driveway towards the carport. Now, we live in a rural area and while people may use the lower part of our driveway to turn around, no one comes that far UP the driveway unless they have a reason. All of a sudden, the light we installed switched to high beams and lit up the driveway. The car immediately went into reverse and backed quickly down the driveway and sped off up the road. While I can’t say why they were there, they’re certainly aware now their presence will be detected. (We’re installing the rest at intervals along the driveway today and have plans to buy more …)

    These lights are just what we needed out back since the drive and garage are there and the back door is our primary entrance. I love the mode where they are on low at dark and go bright on motion detection. They were very easy to install and worked perfectly right out of the box.

    After having/using the product for 3 months, this is the one product I ever bought that exceeded my expectations. As everyone mentioned the brightness is great and it will give you the light that you need. When I purchased these, I was concerned it wouldn’t be able to perform without constant direct sunlight as the area I needed light the most was facing away from the sun and was constantly in shadow the entire day. I placed one where it gets like a few hours of direct sunlight and one that basically never gets direct sunlight (but isn’t in the complete shadows). Both lights still work perfectly and the brightness does not diminish at all with my use! The one in the shadow though doesn’t last as long if its constantly being triggered though and likely won’t do as well if you set it on one of the constantly on modes. I use it only to turn fully on with motion detection and only trigger it maybe 1-5 times a night.For my need and use case, I was impressed with these lights and would recommend it.

    Have a dark backyard now that the days have grown shorter, and taking the dogs out early or late can be difficult. These lights allow us to see pretty well where they are installed. Will be buying more to extend further out to get a nice 360 degree light in the backyard.For those buying this product, the default setting is a bit wonky, so make sure you set it to what you want as there are 3 options. We like a dim light (Setting B, second click up) and then it gets brighter when there is motion detected.

    I had bought these a couple years back and used them at my prior home. I am at a new house and was having trouble finding them again. I found them on Amazon and got them and put them out yesterday! These work better than expected and throw a ton of light! I had bought a set of 4 other lights that can’t even come close to these! If you are looking for a solar light that goes the distance – these are for you! I will be buying another set or two! -Just finished chatting with Amazon and found out these were USED and from the Amazon warehouse…. I always sort my search by NEW only… not sure what the heck happened…buyer beware… (here is an excerpt from the chat with Amazon) I went ahead and did some checks here for you, I am seeing that the item is a Amazon warehouse item which means that it has been used but in good condition to be resold, with these items the option to replace them will not be available. In this case would you like to return the item for a refund.

    I was not expecting these to be as bright as they are due to the size. I put 8 of these up in my backyard along the fence line. I have them set up to come on the dim setting when it’s dark, and then full brightness when it detects motion. It’s just dim enough so if I look in the backyard I can see the perimeter, and if you walk through the yard it’s super lit up. My friend saw my photos and asked if I was trying to turn my backyard into a baseball field haha. I really like them.

    I am a particular person..I looked through many reviews trying to find the right lights & decided on these.They are super bright,light a big area,come already charged,charge easily,stay charged even when its been cloudy.Motion detection is just right and shuts off shortly after there isnt any more motion.This light has 3 mode options. I live in the country & these light up my porch also I have 1 that gives light to my 24 ft long pool deck. The light covers a bigger area than I expected because its so bright. There is also a dim mode too. Absolutely LOVE these lights! I gave 2 to my daughter & kept 2. She loves them as well. She has 1 that lights up her porch stairs & surrounding area. Im happy with the quality & would definitely recommend.
