Does not work at all
I had high hopes for this device but, alas, it failed in every way. It not only does not mince the garlic it doesn’t even smash it, it does nothing but crush it a little bit. Unfortunately, I bought two, the additional one for my daughter. I do not recommend this at all. I wish I could give the product negative points. I did receive the package promptly and it was well packaged, five stars on that.

Ineffective
Does NOT cut through garlic easily as is shown in advertising. A great deal of skin is left uncut, even when applying a lot of strength.

Did not work well
The cutting edge was not very sharp and the “blade” seems too thick for the purpose. One has to push really hard to crush through a garlic clove. Really no improvement over a knife.

Way overrated!
Garlic is a mainstay in our kitchen so we were swayed by the many positive reviews and got one. Other than being sturdy it takes brute force to crush the garlic. To make it work at all we used the meat cleaver to weaken the cloves and then we could sort of get it to work. Happy to return to our Oxo garlic press.

This thing is strong
I was suspicious if it will be strong enough to do the job, but it fulfills what is promised in a nice way. Build is high quality and grip is just how it needs to be. Perfect Little tool
I use garlic all the time and it’s the one thing that I really don’t like about cooking, trying to mince it, or putting it in my mini food processor, it’s sticky and a pain to clean. This little guy makes it so much easier, no sticky mess and only one item to clean! Love it!

This little gadget does the job with one or two presses. You will need to put pressure upon the press.

Garlic Peeler was best part
The press was sturdy and easy enough to use but it was clogged with garlic when finished, which made it difficult to clean. The skinning sleeve is great. It’s probably easy to find one at a fraction of the cost.

This instrument took more pressure than I expected to crush garlic and especially ginger. It is not as sharp as I had hopes and did not rinse that easily either. Garlic stuck in the holes.

What a blast using this do-dah!!! The roller for the removal of the garlic skin was very good!! The press was good also. Need to turn the clove arch up when you crush it. All in all very cool!!

Does not mush garlic unless you are HULK status strong
It just mushes your garlic and only cuts through a little on the top layer. Maybe you just have to be the hulk (I’m a stronger bigger person and still couldn’t swish it appropriately) to smash it and make it work. Not sure but it just sits in my drawer now and I still use my old broken garlic mash from ikea haha

The tool is sturdy but the grid that cuts isn’t sharp. It cuts the garlic but not clearly enough. It’s a great idea but lacks the ability to do the job. I’ll probably send it back. Disappointed 😞

Not easy to use at all
The ad of course made it look like you just ease this over your garlic and it is chopped. You have to press super hard, and several times, to finally chop one little garlic clove. So disappointed. I bought one for me and one as a gift. Now I’m sorry I gave it to my friend! Le sigh.

Great product
I love this garlic press rocker. I find it a lot easier to use it instead of the traditional ones. It is also easy to clean (just use a brush and in a few seconds it’s clean). The garlic peeler is also a great addition to this set. The egg separator is not impressive and made of very cheap plastic (the handle is also very small, so if you want to rest it on top of something larger than a cup it won’t work). However, I have a better egg separator so since it was an added bonus, it didn’t keep me from giving this product a 5 star. Very happy with purchase.

Product does
I have had several different mincers in the kitchen. This is by far the best one yet. So easy to use and easy clean up as well. I love the egg separator and garlic skin remover as well, they are awesome. I make homemade from scratch angel food cake and need a cup and a half of egg whites, so that is perfect and makes it so much easier.

Quality Product, So-so Idea
This product is everything it advertises, and very durable. Which is important, because the pressure required to mash garlic cloves through those whole is VERY high – we’re talking body weight of a grown adult, and you have to mash over the same clove dozens of times for it to really chop itself up. We’ve been looking for an easier option to manually chopping garlic w/ a knife, and unfortunately this isn’t any easier…and would be impossible for anyone with range of motion issues or lack of upper arm strength. I literally use two hands on prop up my entire body weight, and my shoulders feel worked afterward. The PRODUCT is great, but in reality, I don’t think most people want to do an upper body workout just to chop their garlic. That said, it’s extremely easy to clean, which is a big plus.

It’s not as easy to clean and it’s not going to last
What a great concept but you can see how the plastics are put together. I’m afraid to put too much pressure on it and eventually I think the plastic handle will break. If you use it on very fresh garlic, it works well. If you have garlic from the fridge that is aging but still good to use, it won’t work as well. It needs to have solid rock hard garlic to work well.

Great tool for any Kitchen

Well designed and made of good quality material. The package comes with lot of other accessories such as blue garlic presser, white egg yolk separator. Garlic press removing garlic cloves very easy just place the garlic and roll. Now i can easily press about 10 garlic pieces in a minute. very useful tool for any kitchen.Over all this is a good product, I recommend giving it a try.

Just doesn’t work!
Will be returning this garlic crusher. Tried it on numerous pieces of garlic and would not cut through the clove. It feels like the cutting side is not sharp enough to get through the garlic. Was so disappointed! Wanted it to work like the video showed but not even close.

Goodbye sticky garlic juice!
If you use a lot of garlic in your cooking, you need this! The best part is the garlic peeler. The papery skins come off with minimal effort. The mincer does require a good deal of pressure to work, so someone with limited strength might find it difficult to use.

Hard to Use
Sturdy yes. Cleans easy. But way more difficult to use then shown. The holes are not sharp. You will need a lot of strength to press down through the garlic.

Not that great
I thought this would be a great product but it turns out it’s not. Basically all it does is smash the garlic cloves and parts of the garlic come thru the holes which you can scrape off and use for cooking. What you are left with is the outer portion of the clove flattened out and stuck to the press. The thing I don’t like about it is that when you rock it back and forth over your garlic cloves the natural oils are left on the cutting board and you lose a lot of the garlic flavor. I’ll stick with chopping my garlic by hand and preserving all the good oils which impart so much flavor.

Does what it was designed for.
I thought this might be a little faster at mincing garlic than the average mincer. It is. I have only used it a couple of times, so I can’t address durability. Glad I bought it. Easier to clean than the standard mincer.
